For the time being, until albums get built up, enjoy photo shoots of the Panther which we located during our trip to Satpura National Park (Madhai). It was about 300 feet away and in between there were a lot of bushes / thickets and zooming in on the Panther was quite some task. Also, everybody was jostling to have a glimpse of the Panther and the Gypsy was constantly shaking which made the task of keeping the Panther in the frame even more difficult. I still remember I had virtually slid under the front seats to have a little clear view of the beautiful beast. The best part is that an extremely shy animal, it stayed for about half an hour and seemed like it did not care a bit about all the hustle and bustle of the tourists, the clicks of the cameras, the sound of the gypsy vehicles and seemed like leaving only upon getting bored.... I visited Pune in the month of May in my Car along with my family. While travelling, after passing Mehkar in Buldana District, I spotted a herd of Black Bucks and immediately pulled up. My nephew, who was following me in another car, too pulled up. The entire herd of about 15 to 20 were jumping high up in the air and seemed a little distressed and then all of a sudden they left the field and crossed the highway to the other side. All happened too fast but still my nephew was able to get a somewhat better video of the incidence. My daughter too shot the same video but my nephew's video came out better.
