Okay Guys!  I am up and ready.  Rebuilt the entire site from the scratch, right from purchasing a hosting space, building the pages and all the other stuff.  Now, it is up to you to make this website richer.  So please get to the task. Let us see how this turns out…..

Thanks for visiting the site. Actually I was hoping to receive some critical reviews which would have forced me to put my thinking cap on and do some more digging. Anyway, thanks again.

Participated in the tiger census on the 14-15 May and was posted at Saleghat near Kolitmara from 12.00 noon to 12.00 noon.
Sat on a machaan all through the night of Boudh Purnima. Amazing experience. I was accompanied by a forest guard (girl of about 25 yrs) and we were supposed to be watching the bottleneck of a valley surrounded by hills on three sides and having a tigers den at one end.
A most unexpected thing happened. It started raining at about 6.00 in the evening. Our clothes got soaking wet and so did our carpet and sheets. We waited for the rain to stop but when it did’nt we ran and took shelter in the very cave we were supposed to be watching. Spent an anxious hour till it stopped raining and rushed back to take up our post.
And the came the breeze and with our wet clothes we were absolutely chilled and shivering. The clouds parted at about 10.30 in the night and the forest was filled with the silver moonlight. The sounds different birds came all through the night. It got so cold we had to climb down and light a fire at 1.30 in the night. Warmed ourself for an hour, but then after the fire there was no question of sighting the tiger !!!

Quite an experience. A chill ran down my spine when I visualised the scene you were in – rain drenched, all shivers and trembles, running down to the very cave you were supposed to keep a watch for the TIGER….. YOU ARE THE MAN! I knew (always) that you are one guy who would not just sit back. If only you had encountered some wild animal like a Panther, a Sloth Bear, a pack of Dhols (wild dogs) or a herd of Gaurs (Indian Wild Bison)…..it would have been some story to be told to everybody. Even Robin was planning to join the full moon census… didn’t hear anything from him. Keep writing…

Thanks for visiting the site. Still working on it. As regards, hearing Jayanta’s voice in the video, I thought of removing the audio, but then decided against so that whatever happened there, could be heard (although we were almost whispering). Any suggestions to improve it? Or any contributions to make this site richer? I am looking forward to it…. Thanks again!

Thanks dear Khuzema. Somehow, I feel that I should have one review that would be critical about this website of mine (or I could say that it is ours). Thanks again. Keep visiting….

    Wonderful job Satish !
Would surely like to be a part of sharing these invaluable experiences of dogs years. It would be nice if the visitors to this site could share their knowledge and pictures about nature parks, especially the one’s located in central India.
Really can’t resist call of the wilderness when I hear it ! Thank you for this wonderful gift.

Thanks a lot dear Ajit. This site will be successful only upon receiving (I humbly beseech) contributions from guys like you who have this uncanny knack of writing skills. Besides, you wander too often and certainly would have tons and tons of experiences to share. Looking forward to have some valuable contributions. Thank you once again.

    Sir
The site is really very nicely designed. I liked it. How come this idea of designing a website?

Thanks a lot dear Neeraj. Actually, it had been in my mind for quite some time. However, I was not able to find time to devote to building it. During my long leave (which is still continuing), I decided to work on it and seems like it is working out. Still a long way to go…. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot dear Birarvinder. I did not know about this webnode.com which allows free hosting. I paid Rs. 855.06 for an year’s hosting and purchased through hostgator.in. You must feed in your own contents in your website. I certainly see a lot from you in the coming days. May be someday, we shall design and develop a website together. God Bless You.
